Describe your artistic style. My passion is creating unique statement pieces of jewelry that will make heads turn. My innovation process for creating pieces is guided through my own personal style and taste. My mom also inspires my designs because I like to make pieces that I know she will love.
What inspires you as a designer-artist? I love the finished product of all the pieces I create because they are full of color and sparkle. I enjoy every second of making a piece and wire-wrapping in general. I have never wished for more hours in a day until I started making jewelry again. The way time seems to fly while I'm making jewelry makes me feel blessed that I have truly found my passion in life and creative outlet.
What materials do you most enjoy working with? I mostly wire wrap: Swarovski crystals, tourmaline, vermeil beads, pearls etc. with 26-gauge half-hard gold-filled or sterling silver wire.
What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story? Sunset in Palm Beach
What inspired this design? I was inspired by the idea of creating a piece for a woman who wants to throw on a necklace that will exude elegance, class, and glamour.
How did it come together? I first wire-wrapped a couple stands of little and medium sized pearls with gold-filled 26-gauge half-hard wire. Then I decided to incorporate tourmaline highlighted with vermeil beads to add color. I then added a gold pendant with a lemon quartz faceted teardrop briolette.
