What inspired this design?
The colors of spring 2014 and blending of these lovely colors.
How did it come together?
I had originally planned to make a flower and the colors were so pretty I wanted to do something different. I decided to leave the flower petals individual. I thought it would be pretty to add a bead to hang in front of each petal. I had freshwater pearls on hand and decided the contrast of the pearls on the petals would be pretty. Although it took a lot of time, I had to figure out a way to hang each pearl. I ended up placing each pearl on a head pin and bending the wire and forming overlapping loops that I could add a jump ring to. This allowed each pearl to hang properly in front of each petal and have lots of movement.
