Where do you live?
Highland Park, New Jersey

Describe your artistic style.
I'm a wire-wrapping artist.

What inspires you as a designer-artist?
Mostly nature, and I love art deco and art nouveau.

What materials do you most enjoy working with?
Fine and sterling silver, copper, and gemstones.

What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story?
Black Onyx Pendant

What inspired this design?
I love the flexibility of the fine silver! It is allow to me to make lot of hoops. I just can't stop not to make them :)

When and how did you begin making jewelry/beading?
When I was 17, I am now 40, I saw a picture of earrings in a German Fashion Magazine. I had no chance to buy these earrings, but I decided I was going to make them myself. Then I went to my grandpa's workshop and I found everything in there; wire, tools. I used my grandma's bead necklace. She wasn't happy, but after all, she loved my new earring.

Do you have an artistic background?
I'm a self-taught jewelry artist.

How did you discover Fire Mountain Gems and BeadsĀ®?
I found the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads website in a bead magazine.

What other hobbies do you have?
This is my hobby: making jewelry!!!

What role does jewelry-making play in your life?
I'm a stay-home mom so I'm busy, but I'm always trying to find a little time to make jewelry, because this hobby is reassuring to me.

If you used jewelry-making as a way to bring in income, how are you selling yourself and your jewelry?
I have an Etsy shop.

Any advice for aspiring jewelry-artists?
Live for your passion, practice a lot, be patient and it may be pay off.
