||Meet the Designer-Artist
Where do you live?
Describe your artistic style.
Simple, to reach a bit of all ages.
What inspires you as a designer-artist?
I try to play with shapes and shades of color.
What materials do you most enjoy working with?
I love working with reflections, for example mother-of-pearl, shiny metal, crystals, silver-lined seed beads.
What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story?
Pearl of Dew
What inspired this design?
Indian legends fascinate me. On the internet, I discovered a website showing how to make a dream catcher. I am inspired by the legend that the spider's web must capture the first rays of sun that can be seen on the morning dew. This explains the name and pearls scattered around the spider's web.
How did it come together? For example, did you plan it out or did it define itself once you began working?
The website gave an outline that I completed with decorative accessories and beads.
