Describe your artistic style. Love all mediums of jewelry-making; at my best when working with raw stones and teaching young girls how to bead.
What inspires you as a designer-artist? My inspiration comes from my travels with my husband in our RV. We love to visit our national parks, beaches, wilderness and Canada. The color of the waters, forests, lakes, rivers, and wild animals inspire me.
What materials do you most enjoy working with? Raw minerals, pearls, faceted gemstones.
What is the name of the piece you submitted with your success story? Louise Necklace
What inspired this design? The waters of Lake Louise, Canada
How did it come together? The sea green jade nuggets were the exact color of Lake Louise's water, the pearls are the reflection of snow on the hill over it, and the garnet beads are the exact color of the leaves in August.
