I'm RVing full time with my husband, Jay, and grandchild, Austin, to see the United States and we have four more years to go. We were in Quartzsite, AZ the winter of 2003 and saw the Gem Show. The gems and jewelry were so beautiful, and cost a lot! So I said to myself, I can do that and I did.

Two people actually introduced me to beading. I was in a campground in Desert Hot Springs, CA and this nice man taught me how to wire-wrap my first stone. I have been wrapping for 4-1/2 years. My girlfriend, Joyce Petrin, in Tucson, AZ taught me beading and introduced me to Fire Mountain Gems and Beads in the same year--2004.
I love to wire-wrap and came up with my own design. I do string beads, too. I'm very proud of my design, ''My Garden of Flowers.'' It took three weeks to make and I won Gold Prize in the Swarovski Category in Fire Mountain Gems and Beads 2008 Annual Beading Contest.
I have been teaching those who want to learn about beading and wire-wrapping. I love making jewelry and want to try my hand in Art Clay® and soldering. My goal is to win the Grand Prize in the Fire Mountain Gems and Beads Annual Beading Contest.
