Where do you live?
Birmingham, Alabama
What inspires you as a designer-artist?
My inspiration comes from what people are wearing. I usually look at my clothes, or what others are wearing, and think to myself, "Hmm if they were wearing (JazzyJewelsbyCrystal) then that would set their outfit off." :)
What medium do you work with mostly?
Glass pearls and Czech beads.
Why did you become enchanted with this style of jewelry-making?
It is so classy to see pearls. No matter what color or what size. It takes me from the boardroom to the bedroom. Pearls are classic, jazzy and timeless.
Where and how do you sell your jewelry?
I put on trunk shows through the 50 states. I do jewelry parties, and I use social media Facebook, Instagram, and also The Square.

What inspired this design?
I was asked to do make a unique piece using turquoise for someone that lives in Virginia Beach ... So of course, I had to look at Firemountaingems.com to see what was available. And to my surprise I saw turquoise shamrocks! How cute!! I thought if I can get some pearls in the design it will be awesome. Welcome the white pants and welcome the Summer Shamrocks!
How did it come together?
This piece defined itself. I looked at the strands of beads for a week and then finally I was getting ready for work wearing a white button down shirt, which felt plain, and BINGO! I ran to my bead room and realized that I could fit a small glass pearl in between the turquoise shamrock and Bam ... the Summer Shamrocks was born! |
