My Love of Angels

by Sandi Thompson

I have always loved Angels and believed that I had Angels watching over me and my family. I have never seen them, but have always known they were there. My husband (a wonderful man who was never sick in his life) got Lewy Body Dementia at the age of 63 (young from what the doctors told me). I took care of him at home never wanting to be away from him for long. I left for work at 7:30 each morning and returned at 4:30pm (he was with an in-home caregiver while I was gone) to someone who did not know who I was. I have always displayed Angels all over my house, and on the shelf unit above his bed sat three beautiful Angels. I noticed that he watched them and he ask me one day who they were, I told him that they were Angels who watched over him while I was away, this seemed to be comforting to him. He passed away with those Angels watching over him, two years later. I will have to admit that I would not have been able to learn the patience I have now without the help of MY Guardian Angels. Two months later I was in a car wreck (the driver fell asleep and hit me head on). Once again my Guardian Angels watched over me and I only had minor injuries. I still to this day believe in Angels and wear them whenever I can, and yes I still have them all over my office and house.
