Spring Caress

PRECIOSA Twin™, a new unique oval two-hole seed bead from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand, has found a place with those who are interested in creative work with Czech seed beads. In the hands of experienced designers, this new two-hole seed bead can be an excellent supplement enabling the extension of the options offered by popular techniques. Beginners will be surprised by the speed at which they achieve an excellent visual effect. The necklace presented here in spring colors is evidence of this. The individual flowers are formed by means of the relatively simple connection of eight seed beads, while the multicolored necklace is created by means of the chosen selection of colors and their combination when stringing the individual flowers on a satin ribbon. PRECIOSA ORNELA wishes you many creative ideas when working with the new PRECIOSA Twin seed bead and all other Czech seed beads

  • Seed bead, Czech glass, crystal with brown lining, Twin
  • Seed bead, Czech glass, #8 rocaille
  • Satin ribbon
  • Thin, line

  • Optional:

The Procedure:

The individual flowers are created by passing the line through 8x PRECIOSA Twin seed beads, always only through one of the two holes in each seed bead. Tie the end of the line in a strong triple knot, sew it into the surrounding holes and cut.

We have chosen a fresh spring color combination for this necklace and created a total of 38 flowers. String the individual flowers in any arbitrary order onto a 1cm wide and 1m long satin ribbon with a color chosen according to one of the colors of the PRECIOSA Twin seed beads. The ends of the ribbon are cut diagonally and lightly heat sealed.

You can also create earrings and bracelet in the same style.
