The capital letters above are the bead key identifiers, which are referenced throughout the instructions.
Bead a rope in tubular peyote stitch, using A beads. Work one half of the clasp in A, B, L, (Fig. 2) and attach it to one end of the rope. Work another half of the clasp in A, (Fig. 3) for the other end of the rope and embroider it in B (Fig. 4).
Bead one more tubular peyote stitch rope in F, (Fig. 1) and connect it with the first one (Finished Image). Put the connected ropes aside.
Bead the smallest inner petal in E (Fig. 5). Start beading from the middle and work symmetrically in both directions. Embroider the edge of the petal in K (Fig. 6).
Work the other petals in the same way (Fig. 7 - 10). Embroider the finished petals in K working similar to the first petal (Fig. 6). A tip: you can vary the number and the shape of the petals.
Assemble the petals and sew them together to form a flower (see the finished image).
Bead the leaves in A, B, C and D (Fig. 11). Use a different initial set of beads for each leaf to make the work more intricate.
Bead the leaves in H, I and J (Fig. 12). Assemble them together, using L beads (Fig. 13).
Bead a ribbon of three leaves connected together: work the first leaf in A, the second leaf in B, and the third one in C (Fig. 14). Close the ribbon into a ring.
Bead Ndebele rope in E and K (Fig. 15), tapering the rope gradually to the ends in any way you are used to. Insert the finished rope into the ring of leaves and attach it to the leaves.
Work strings of G and M and twine them around the right half of the first rope up to the leaves. Work a chain in G, (Fig 16) and twine it around the middle part of the first rope. Work one more chain in B, (Fig. 16) and wind it round the second rope.
Attach the leaves and the flower to the connected ropes to hide the places of connection. Attach a few leaves, the flower and a few pendants in B and O (Fig. 17) to the left and few more leaves with pendants worked in B, P and Q to the right.
Attach the leaves, buds with pendants in A and M - R beads to the lower rope (Fig. 17). Vary the number and the length of the pendants at your option.
