How do you recommend I relieve eye strain when working with seed beads?

To help relieve eye strain, I would suggest, every 10-15 minutes, look out a window and off into the distance at a tree, the mountains, the ocean, or whatever landscape you may have available. Give your eyes the stretch they need. Resume working after this nice stretch and enjoy watching your project evolve.

It is very important that you set up your working environment to make yourself as comfortable and as efficient as you can be, no matter what medium you are working with; proper lighting and good posture are key to this.

With intricate seed bead work, a magnifier is helpful in reducing eye strain. I prefer a hands-free headband or clip-on glasses but there are several styles to choose from depending on your needs.
