I'm new to beading but have started working a peyote-stitched tube with seed beads. I need to add additional thread to extend the length of the tube. Any suggestions?

Incorporating additional thread is fairly easy when working the tubular peyote stitch pattern, or any other off-loom beading stitch. When you get down to the last 4 inches or so, pass the needle through several adjacent beads to secure the thread. (If desired tie a small knot between the beads, then pull the thread to conceal the knot inside a bead). Start a new length of thread in the same manner by passing through several beads and exiting from the point where you left off.
