Can Zebra wire be polished?

As you create designs with colored copper wire and protected tools such as nylon jaw pliers, the coating should retain its shine. Use a polishing cloth, such as Moonshine® cloth, to bring back the luster that might have been lost.

Zebra Wire™ Colored Copper Wire has a shiny lacquer coating that protects the enameled color on the copper core. If you hammer or texturize the wire too much with bare tools, you might not only lose the coating's shine, but you may also lose the color coating and see the copper core.
