Some of my wire cutting tools are getting indentations and the wire I use does not seem to be that hard. What would be the best way to sharpen them? Thank you.

Having your cutters sharpened professionally is the best way to renew the blades on your cutters.

As resources allow, it is a good idea to have a different cutter available for use with all the types of wire you work with. For example: a pair of memory wire-cutters for cutting memory wire, a pair of Lindstrom® wire-cutters for fine and precious wire, a pair of Tronex® flush-cutters for use with heavier gauge precious metal wire, a pair of wire nippers for use with Accu-Flex® beading wire, a pair of wire-cutters or a thread burner for use with FireLine® and a pair of wire-cutters for use with Wrapit® wire. Having these tools on hand, and labeled for which materials they are designated for will help prolong the life of the blades and make the best use of the money you invested.
