Apache weave is also called brick stitch or stacking stitch created with seed beads, needle and thread. It is also known as the Comanche or Cheyenne weave. The bead rows stack on top of one another like a brick wall. Apache weave is generally used to create earrings and embellishments incorporating glass seed beads. Fire Mountain Gems and Beads offers a free how-to video for the brick stitch.
