See how to create consistent same size loops from jewelry wire with the Wolf Tools® Groovy Looping pliers in this product show-and-tell led by in-house jewelry designer Alice Gershowitz.
The Wolf Tools® Groovy Looping Pliers has one smooth nose and a flat nose with three grooves for positioning wire to create 2.8mm, 3.4mm and 4.5mm consistent size loops for any wire-wrapping projects.
String a headpin with any desirable bead. Bend the headpin as far down and as close to the bead as possible.
Trim the wire to approximately 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch long.
Position the wire inside the middle groove in the jaw of the Wolf Tools Groovy Looping Pliers. Close the jaw.
Rotate the pliers, creating a half of a loop. Reposition the pliers to the middle groove then rotate again, finishing the loop.
