Where do you live?

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Describe your artistic style.

I'm not sure I've found "my style" yet. I love to experiment with different materials.

What inspires you as a designer-artist?

My inspiration comes from nature or simply from the material I'm working with.

What materials do you most enjoy working with?

Many, but my heart is beating for crystals, semi-precious stones and corals.

Winter, ice, snow, wedding.

Share Your Background

When and how did you begin making jewelry/beading?

In the '90s I tried stringing in Denmark, but when I moved to Canada 2008 and saw the supplies of stones, beads and tools, I had to start to experiment with the different materials.

Who introduced you to beading?

No one really introduced me; I just began it on my own.

Do you have an artistic background?

No, most of it I learned on my own or online.

How did you discover Fire Mountain Gems and Beads®?

Through the bead magazines and the internet.

What other hobbies do you have?

Hiking, experiment with new recipes, reading.

What role does jewelry-making play in your life?

I would like it to be my full-time career, but I take one day at time. It effects me a lot because I'm always thinking what I want to make next. I'm constantly looking for new ideas, materials. But the other side is it relaxes me after a busy day.

If you used jewelry-making as a way to bring in income, how are you selling yourself and your jewelry?

We are working on a website and checking out the possibilities.

Any advice for aspiring jewelry-artists?

Just do something that makes you happy, then you will succeed!!
