Instructions
Cut a 3-yard length of smoke FireLine® thread. Add a beading needle to the thread, leaving a tail approximately six inches long.
Note: It may be necessary to cut additional lengths of thread later in the design. If there are three inches or less of thread remaining, weave the remainder through the design. Start a new length of thread and weave through the design, exiting the bead where you left off then continue beading.
Pick up:
Tip: This design uses two quarter Tila beads for the inside pattern and two more for the outside pattern.
Pass the needle back through the open hole of the gunmetal and the robin's egg blue quarter Tila beads then pick up one #15 rocaille and two quarter Tila beads (inside).
Pass the needle back through the three #15 rocailles (in between the two sets of quarter Tila beads) in the opposite direction then pass the needle through the open holes of the outside quarter Tila beads from Step 2. Pull tight.
Pick up one #15 rocaille, two quarter Tila beads (outside) then pass the needle back through the first three #15 rocailles from Step 2 in the opposite direction.
Note: The working end and the tail should be exiting the same seed beads.
Pass the needle back through the open holes of the two quarter Tila beads in the opposite direction.
Pick up one #15 rocaille and two quarter Tila beads (inside). Pass the needle through the single #15 rocaille from Step 5 then pass the needle through the open holes of the inside quarter Tila beads.
Pick up one #15 rocaille and two quarter Tila beads (outside) and pass the needle back through the single #15 rocaille from Step 3.
Pick up two #15 rocailles then pass the needle back through the open holes of the outside quarter Tila beads in the opposite direction.
Repeat Steps 7 - 9 until the desired length of bracelet is complete.
Tip: Allow approximately 1/4 inch extra on each end for the clasp and extender chain.
Weave the working end through a few adjacent beads then trim excess. Add a needle to the tail and repeat.
Apply E6000® to the inside of one ribbon crimp end then crimp onto the end of the strand. Repeat on the opposite end.
Pass one 4mm jump ring through one ribbon crimp end and one lobster claw clasp then close. Repeat to attach a second jump ring.
Using 6mm jump rings, create an extender chain five rings long and attach to the opposite ribbon crimp to complete the bracelet.
