Topics: Adding Charms to an Italian-Style Charm Bracelet

Q.
Is there a special tool or technique that makes adding charms to an Italian-style Charm bracelet easier?
- Diane
A.
Unfortunately there are no tools or techniques to make adding charms easier. Italian-style charms slide open on one end and hook to each other making a solid bracelet that stretches. They are endlessly interchangeable by sliding the center part open with pressure against your bottom finger, holding the main part of the charm still. Links with surface decoration are a bit easier to open than unembellished links. One last tip, don't apply hand crème before opening the links!
