Topics: Finishing A Multi-Strand Necklace

Q.
I make a lot of multi-strand necklaces with both pearls and gemstones. I use beading wire, not string. The resulting bunch of strands is much too large to fit into a cone on the end. I would like to know how to hide the crimps on the ends and all the finishing at the end of the necklace using a bead cap and other findings. I have seen it done in magazines and catalogs.

A great alternative to using bead cones is to use a multi-strand clasp. To finish the ends of the strands neatly, cover your crimps with crimp covers for a finished, professional look.
