Topics: Recruiting Jewelry Party Hosts

Q.
How can I recruit more "hosts" for jewelry home parties?
- Donna
A.
The best way to recruit new hosts is at a current party. Offer the host an incentive for new prospective hosts you meet at the party. Keep brochures handy that explain the perks of hosting, and what the responsibilities are of the host and the jewelry maker. When you sell jewelry at a show, you can include information about hosting in the bag! You can also contact party planners in your area and offer them a referral fee for connecting you with new hosts. Finally, make sure your website has a separate page where you describe your home party services and all the nice benefits (like free jewelry and a percentage of sales!) that hosts enjoy.
