Topics: Making Pearl Stud Earrings

Q.
I am making a 16mm pearl necklace for my cousin for her wedding. She wants stud earrings to match, but I don't know how to make them. I don't want the holes to show.

Half-drilled pearls to the rescue! Choose half-drilled cultured freshwater pearls or Swarovski crystal half-drilled pearls that match the bride's necklace. Select cup with peg earstuds to suit the bride's preferences (and metal sensitivities) and G-S Hypo cement to secure the bead and earstuds together. Refer to "Gluing a Half-Drilled Gemstone or Pearl onto a Peg Earstud" instructions.
