Bulk chain (chain sold by the yard or spool) can be attached to clasps with a variety of findings. The findings you need will depend on the type of chain being used.

For open link styles such as cable chain, you will just need a jump ring or split ring to attach to most clasps. For woven style chains such as snake chain, use chain terminators on each end to attach a clasp or to make an attachment point for jump rings.

Add a dab of Loctite® 409 Gel to the joint of the jump ring to secure it. This glue has special gap-filling and non-running qualities that are key when dealing with multiple, detailed gluing challenges like this one. Loctite 409 Gel features fine tip applicators that help get the glue exactly where you need it.
