Q.
I enjoy sewing with seed beads. I had made a beautiful choker using size 11's and Nymo thread. After about six months of wearing the choker, it fell apart. I treat my thread with beeswax. What do you recommend using for wearable patterns?

A.
You may want to try FireLine® thread for your seed bead designs. It's a great product--very strong and reliable. It comes prewaxed, doesn't fray, is easy to thread and has a tensile strength of up to 6 pounds. It's UV protected so won't decay in sunlight, and is a good choice for beads that have abrasive holes like crystals.
