Topics: Seed Bead Sizing

Q.
How do seed bead sizes compare?
- Bekka, ND
A.
Seed beads are sized in "aughts" and the number for each size indicates how many aughts fit into a standard unit of measurement. The higher the number, the smaller the bead, i.e. a size 15/0 is 1.3mm and a size 8/0 is 2.5mm.
