Q.
I have made a 2-strand bracelet. The strand will bend up by the crimps and now will not lay right. What am I doing wrong?
- Karen
A.
Crimp the crimp tube so that there is a small space between the crimp and the loop of the clasp. Crimping a crimp tube too tightly and too close to the clasp can bend the beading wire, as you describe. Be sure to use the proper crimping technique as shown in the ''How To Crimp a Crimp Bead/Crimp Tube'' video how-to and illustrated instructions.
