Q.
I was given a large bag of assorted chains. Most are sterling silver and a few are gold-filled. They all have a funny metallic smell to them and they have spots of tarnish. I have an ultrasonic cleaner and have used that with some dish soap and it helped the smell a little and did nothing for the tarnish. What is the best way to remove the smell and tarnish from a lot of chain?

The product we suggest is Empire's Instant Tarnish Remover. Immerse your chain for 2-10 seconds, depending on the amount of tarnish then rinse in warm soapy water and towel dry.
