Q.
How do you attach a bead that is only one half drilled to make it into a pendant. I have a swarovski crystal squirrel, and the hole does not go all the way through. Thanks for your help!

Gluing a half-drilled element onto a finding with a post will transform your element into a pendant, earring or dangling charm. Choose the finding that suits your needs as well as one that is sized proportionately to your half-drilled element.

The glue or adhesive you choose should be based on the materials being assembled. Two-part epoxy is an ideal adhesive for this application as it works well with non-porous items, will not affect any foil applied to a Swarovski crystal, offers a strong bond for all types of wear and tear and cures to a waterproof finish. For one-project use, choose a 5-minute curing 2-part epoxy. For multiple applications in one sitting, choose a 30- or 90-minute curing time.

G-S Hypo Cement is another adhesive that would work well for gluing crystals (without foil) to a metal finding.
