Q.
I was wondering if you need any kind of release with the flex molds? I'm thinking for PMC you'd want to oil them, but what about ICE Resin?

A.
Correct--when molding metal clay in the Deep-Flex™ plastic molds, adding a light touch of oil is the way to go. When forming shapes using ICE Resin®, I have found that once cured, the ICE Resin just pops out of the flex molds like ice cubes from an ice-cube tray, no release needed. Kato Polyclay™ releases well from the molds when a light spray of water is applied.
