Topics: Clay, Chatons

Q.
Can you imbed Swarovski chatons into polymer clay? If so, what types would work best? Thanks in advance,
- Kim
A.
While any of the chatons will work with the clay, the full-faced rhinestone chatons are preferable because of the increased surface area of the back of the chaton which is inserted into the clay. If any of the chatons are not secure after the clay has been baked, place a drop of G-S Hypo cement into the indentation and place the chaton back into place.
