Q.
I need to know how to finish a pearl dangle. I know I could knot the end and weave the thread back through and knot again, or dangle a charm off the end. Do you know of any other suggestions?

A pearl dangle can be given a wire-wrapped finish by choosing a thin-gauge headpin that fits through the pearl hole. Before you secure the wrap at the top of the pearl, attach a short length of chain. Add one or more of these finished dangle styles to a necklace or bracelet strand you are designing, or complement your designs with the pearl dangles as earrings.

Using Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire is also a nice alternative. Thread the beading wire through a crimp tube, then up through the pearl and any other bead in the design. Make a loop at the top and attach it to the jewelry piece, then run the wire back through the design to meet the other end of the wire. Crimp the crimp tube and add an appropriate size crimp cover to add a professional finish to the dangle.
