Q.
I have made several beaded bracelets using flexible stringing wire and a hook and eye clasp. When worn, the clasp always moves to the top of the wrist. I want the clasps to stay under to show the beads. Am I doing something wrong?

A.
You are not doing anything wrong. Gravity will force the weight distribution down. If the heaviest component in the bracelet is the clasp, then it will stay under the wrist most of the time. Other components, such as tassels and charms strung close to the clasp will help to keep the clasp on the underside of the wrist.

One suggestion is to choose clasps, other metal components and beads with equal weight or choose a clasp that has a design that integrates with the beads, so it will become a focal in your bracelet.
