Q.
I have some glass beads that have a smell to them. I have tried several times washing the beads in warm water and dish detergent. I cannot get out the smell. What do you suggest?

Try filling a spray bottle with vinegar and thoroughly spray the beads, making sure to get inside the holes as well. Lay the beads outside in the sun for at least 3 hours and let dry completely. Another remedy is to place the beads in a zip lock plastic bag with a dyer sheet, close up tightly and leave for at least 24 hours.

Note: It's always a good idea to test these cleaning methods on a couple beads before exposing all of your beads.
