When finishing a piece, I don't have a problem with crimping or threading the wire back through the finished beads but I have to pull on it a little too tight for comfort to make sure that the piece doesn't have too much slack in it...and be ruined. Some pieces cannot abide a crimp cover and the crimp will be hidden well but still, is there a secret to achieving the aforementioned task without using a winch?
What does oxidated and anodized mean? Thank you,
I am in love with seed beads but I have serious issues getting my work finished. I can stitch a toggle clasp but the toggle-bar never fits. It's too small or too big. Could you please help me?
I recently purchased "The Bosses Bag." In it was a long chain with crystals in the links. I think it might be called a cup chain. I would love to make tennis bracelets with the chain but I cannot find anything on your site that tells me how to add a clasp to the ends. Please help.

I would like to wirewrap gemstone rondelles and link them together to form a gemstone chain. I would like to use liver of sulfur to oxidize the chain. Is it safer to oxidize the wire before or after wirewrapping the gemstones beads into the chain?
I have looked everywhere for an answer. I am trying to remove the sharp edges from watch parts so I can use them in jewelry. I've tried tumbling with walnut shells and then steel shot. Neither media worked. Please help! Thanks,
I have various styles of ceramic pendants with large diameter vertical holes going all the way through the pendants and need to hang them on stretch elastic necklaces. The eye and head pins available are all too small a diameter for a simple wire loop at the top of the pendant and I have searched for any way to secure and string them. I am trying to mass produce and don't have the time for any fancy wire-wrap type techniques. Help please!!!!!
Hello, I am having a hard time getting my earrings to hang straight. They want to turn either to the right or left. Is it because I'm hand drilling the center of my brass? Thank You.
I have some rhinestone bracelets that have elastic running through the insides. The elastic has stretched and I have been unable to take the bracelets apart to somehow restring the elastic inside. How can I either undo the rhinestones (I can't bend them apart or pull them apart either, the metal tab attaching each one wiggles, but won't separate) or what do I use to string new elastic inside? Are these bracelets fixable? Thank you.
I have created a necklace with a three strand slide lock clasp. It starts with the three strands then reduces to a single strand using a 3-1 connector and expands back to three strands using another 1-3 connector to terminate at the three strand clasp. The center strand is the one which continues through the whole necklace. My question is what is the best way to terminate the strands on the right and left at the connectors? I have tied knots in the beading wire onto the center strand but this does not seem very secure.
I have some copper pieces that I would like to look a bit darker, more antique. What product should I use to do this?
I bought copper French wire, 1.5mm spiral. How can I use this wire?
What is the best method to attach an S clasp? Standard crimp bead and ring? Or something better? The necklace is 2 strand turquoise and rather heavy. Thank you.
I was doing so great making my necklaces with beads from Fire Mountain. The necklaces were just beautiful. I have no trouble designing them, but I have become so discouraged that I have not made any in the last few months. I became disgusted with the process because of the hard work and yet they seem to fall apart in spite of all I have tried to do. I have watched your instructions etc but cannot seem to win. What on earth am I doing wrong? They sometimes break, but most of the time, it is in the end of the necklace that the break happens. I loved this work. What can I do to make sure they will stay put while someone is wearing them? Thank you.
I make Sterling silver earrings with gemstones and my question is: After I put my headpin through the earwire and then wrap it, can I put a crimp cover over it for a more finished look? How do I determine the right size cover?
I find crimp covers are locking into each other while in storage, what is the best way to separate them?
Can I use the wire guardian as the hook for my clasp?
Can I use bead tips to cover crimp tubes and beads when finishing my necklace using flexible beading wire?
I want to make my own horse hair bracelet with my horse's tail hair. What type of clasps and beading thread should I use?
