This sweet bracelet calls to mind the beauty of one of nature's loveliest designs: the honeycomb. Made with sparkling Swarovski crystal, it's at home in any setting, from festive to formal. With Swarovski's incredible range of colors, this bracelet can match any outfit, any mood.
||Cut two pieces of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire, 24 inches long. String one crimp tube and one loop, on one-half of the clasp onto one length of wire. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube. Pull the short end of the Accu-Flex beading wire until there is only a small loop between the crimp tube and the clasp. Put a drop of Loctite 409 into the hole of the crimp tube (optional).
Before crimping: separate the two strands of wire. This will help ensure that one wire is captured on one side of the crimp tube and one is captured on the other after crimping. If the crimp tube has slid away from the clasp and the loop has gotten bigger, use the crimping pliers to bring the crimp back up toward the clasp.
Using the hole closest to the handle of the pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Turn the wire 1/4 turn, then finish the crimp by rounding it with the section closest to the tip of the crimping pliers. Trim any excess wire from the short end. Repeat for the second length of wire. From this point forward I will refer to the two strands as left and right.
Tape the clasp to your work surface; this will help keep the bracelet steady while you are weaving. String one diamond crystal onto the right strand of Accu-Flex beading wire and three diamond crystals on the left strand--be sure to slip the first bead on each strand over any Accu-Flex beading wire still sticking out past the crimp tube--you don't want any sharp edges poking your wrist. Pass the right strand of Accu-Flex beading wire, working in the opposite direction, back through the third bead on the left strand: pull tight.
String four diamond crystals on the right strand of Accu-Flex beading wire and one diamond crystal on the left strand of Accu-Flex beading wire. Pass the left strand of Accu-Flex beading wire, working in the opposite direction, back through the fourth diamond crystal on the right strand; pull tight.
Place four diamond crystals on the left strand of Accu-Flex beading wire and one diamond crystal on the right strand of Accu-Flex beading wire. Pass the right strand of Accu-Flex beading wire working in the opposite direction, back through the fourth diamond crystal on the left strand; pull tight. Repeat 13 times.
End the bracelet with two diamond crystals on the right strand of Accu-Flex beading wire and one diamond crystal on the left strand of Accu-Flex beading wire. Place a crimp tube on each strand then double check that you've pulled tightly between each section--there shouldn't be any slack between your diamond crystals. Repeat Step 1 to finish your bracelet.
