Triple-Strand Necklace with Hemalyke™ Beads, Antiqued Gold Pewter Beads and Gold-Plated Chain

STEP 1
Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through one loop attached to the toggle clasp. Close the jumpring.

Repeat, adding a jumpring to one loop on the ring-half of the toggle clasp.

First Strand

STEP 2
Using side-cutting pliers, cut a 24-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire, one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the wire through the jumpring added in Step 1 then back through the crimp tube leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube and fits over the jumpring. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using side-cutting pliers, trim the excess wire from the short end.

Optional:

For a more finished look, place a crimp cover over the crimp tube then gently close it.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire, five 3mm black glass beads, three 4mm black glass beads, one 5x3mm gold rope rondelle, three 4mm black glass beads, one 5x3mm gold rope rondelle, three 4mm black glass beads and one 8x5mm gold oval with rope.
STEP 4
String on three 4mm black glass beads, one 5x3mm gold rope rondelle, three 4mm black glass beads, one 5x3mm gold rope rondelle, three 4mm black glass beads, one 5x3mm gold rope rondelle, three 4mm black glass beads and one 8x5mm gold oval with rope.

Repeat the pattern 2 more times for a total of 3 sets.
STEP 5
Repeat Steps 4 and 3, backwards, to create the second half of the strand in a mirror image of the first half of the strand.
STEP 6
String one crimp tube and one 1/2 inch length of French wire onto the beading wire after the last bead. Pass the beading wire through the 4mm jumpring attached to the ring-half of the toggle clasp then pass the beading wire back through the crimp tube. Pull the wire snugly so the crimp and the French wire are closer to the clasp and the French wire is formed into a nicely shaped tube. Make sure there is no slack along the entire length of the necklace, yet not so tight that the strand is rigid. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using side-cutting pliers, trim the excess wire from the end.

For a more finished look, place a crimp cover over the crimp tube and gently close it.

Repeat, attaching the other end of the chain to the other half of the toggle clasp.
