Bracelet and Earring Set with Gemstone Beads and Copper Beads

Bracelet

STEP 1
String onto a headpin one turquoise 6x3mm rondelle. Finish the end with a simple loop. Repeat to create 50 turquoise rondelle bead drops.

Repeat to create 40 turquoise chip bead drops, using one turquoise chip and one headpin.

Repeat to create 40 "chrysoprase" rondelle bead drops, using one ''chrysoprase'' rondelle and one headpin.

Repeat to create 40 moonstone chip bead drops, using one moonstone chip and one headpin.
STEP 2
Using chain-nose pliers, open a jumpring. Pass the jumpring through the loop on one end of the clasp. Close the loop. Repeat to add a jumpring to the other half of the clasp.
STEP 3
Using the flush-cutters, cut a 12-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional quality beading wire. String onto the wire, one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the wire through the jumpring added in Step 2 and back through the crimp tube leaving one end of the wire approximately one inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire forms a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using the flush-cutters, trim any excess wire from the short end.
STEP 4
String onto the wire:
  • One 3mm copper bead
  • One 5mm copper bead
  • One turquoise rondelle
  • One copper 6x5mm drum
  • Five turquoise rondelle bead drops
  • Five "chrysoprase" rondelle bead drops
  • Five turquoise rondelle bead drops
  • Five moonstone chip bead drops

String onto the wire:

STEP 5
String onto the wire one crimp tube, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the jumpring connected to the other half of the clasp. Pull the wire snugly so the crimp and the French wire are closer to the jumpring. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the bracelet. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim any excess wire.

Earrings

STEP 1
String one turquoise 6x3mm rondelle onto a headpin. Finish the end with a simple loop. Repeat to create four turquoise rondelle bead drops.

Repeat Step 1 to create eight turquoise chip bead drops, using one turquoise chip and one headpin.

Repeat Step 1 to create two turquoise chip bead drops with a 1/4 length of straight wire above the chip before you form the simple loop.

Repeat Step 1 to create four ''chrysoprase'' rondelle bead drops, using one ''chrysoprase'' rondelle and one headpin.

Repeat Step 1 to create four moonstone chip bead drops, using one moonstone chip and one headpin.
STEP 2
Using flush-cutters, cut off the ball on a headpin. Create a simple loop on one end then string on one 3mm copper bead, one copper 6x5mm drum and one 5mm copper bead. Finish the end with a simple loop. Repeat to create a total of two copper bead links.
STEP 3
Using chain-nose pliers, open the loop on the bottom of one earwire. Pass the open loop through a loop on one copper bead link. Close the loop.
STEP 4
Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers, open a jumpring and attach it to the other loop on the copper bead link. Close the jumpring. Connect a length of four more jumprings to create a chain.
STEP 5
Open the loop on one turquoise rondelle bead drop and pass it through the first jumpring closest to the earwire. Close the loop. Repeat to attach a second turquoise rondelle bead drop so each one is on either side of the top of the next jumpring.

Repeat Step 5 to attach two turquoise chip bead drops to the second jumpring, two moonstone chip bead drops to the third jumpring, two turquoise chip bead drops to the fourth jumpring, two ''chrysoprase'' rondelle bead drops to the fifth jumpring and the extended turquoise chip drop added to the fifth jumpring placed in between the two ''chrysoprase'' drops.
STEP 6
Repeat Steps 2 - 5 to create the second earring.
