Triple-Strand Necklace with Peach Moonstone Beads, Cultured Freshwater Pearls and Gold-Filled Chain

First Strand

STEP 1
Using diagonal cutters, cut a 23-1/2 inch length of gold-filled link chain.

Please note: Based on the design of the chain, have the cut length start and end with the 3-links rather than the bar with loops.
STEP 2
Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the hook portion of the clasp and the last link on one end of the chain. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to connect the last link on the other end of the chain to the eye portion of the clasp.
STEP 3
Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers (or one pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers), close two 3mm jumprings.

Measure 6 inches down from the first link on one end of the chain. Open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the lower link of a set of 3-links and two closed 3mm jumprings. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach a 4mm jumpring and two 3mm jumprings to the opposite side of the chain.

Second Strand

STEP 4
Using the diagonal cutters, cut a 14-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire, one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the wire through the lower 3mm jumpring added in Step 3 and back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.
STEP 5
String onto the beading wire one stick pearl and one 3mm gold-filled bead. Repeat Step 5 twenty-five times for a total of 26 sets. Finally, string on one more stick pearl.
STEP 6
After adding the last stick pearl, string on one crimp tube and 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the beading wire through the lower 3mm jumpring on the opposite side of the chain and back through the crimp (and the stick pearl, if possible). Pull the wire snugly so the crimp and the French wire are closer to the jumpring. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the first part of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim excess wire from the end.

Third Strand

STEP 7
Using the flush-cutters, cut a 16-inch length of Accu-Flex beading wire. String onto the wire, one crimp tube and a 1/2 inch piece of French wire. Pass the wire through the second 3mm jumpring added in Step 3 and back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long.

STEP 8
String onto the beading wire one 4mm round peach crystal, one 3mm gold filled bead and one peach moonstone nugget.

Repeat Step 8 four times for a total of five sets. Add one more 4mm round peach crystal and one more 3mm gold-filled bead. Next, string on one peach moonstone nugget and a 4mm round peach crystal. Repeat five more times, then add a 3mm gold-filled bead. Finally, add one 4mm round peach crystal and one 3mm gold-filled bead, and repeat that four more times, then add one more 4mm round peach crystal.
STEP 9
Place one crimp tube on the beading wire after last 4mm round peach crystal and 1/2 inch of French wire. Repeat Step 6 to connect the beading wire to the second 3mm jumpring on the opposite side of chain.
