Triple-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Enamel-Coated Brass Beads, Czech Glass Beads and Gold-Plated Brass Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
String onto a headpin, one orange-colored brass heart and one 4mm coffee-colored druk. Finish the end with a wrapped loop.

First Strand

STEP 2
Using the scissors, cut one 18-inch length of metallic copper rattail cord.
STEP 3
Place one end into a cord coil with the loop of the coil facing outward. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the chamber (optional).

Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, compress the bottom portion of the cord coil to secure the coil onto the cording. Using the scissors, trim any excess rattail cord from the end.
STEP 4
String onto the cord one brass fancy brown bead, the loop on the wrapped loop heart drop made in Step 1, and one brass fancy orange bead.
STEP 5
Repeat Step 3 to attach the opposite end of the cord to a cord coil.
STEP 6
Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass the open ring through the first loop on one half of the clasp and the loop on one of the cord coils. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach the other end of the cord to the first loop on the second half of the clasp.

Second Strand

STEP 7
Attach a 4mm jumpring to the remaining two loops on each side of the clasp.
STEP 8
Using the side-cutting pliers, cut a 30-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire, one crimp tube, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the middle jumpring on the first half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube and pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the clasp so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Trim the excess beading wire from the short end.
STEP 9
String onto the beading wire one of each of the following:
