Single-Strand Necklace with Celestial Crystal® Beads, Bone Skull Beads and Wood Beads

STEP 1
Using two pairs of chain-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass the open ring through a loop on one half of the clasp and another 4mm jumpring. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to add two jumprings to the second half of the clasp.
STEP 2
Using wire nippers, cut a 24-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire one crimp tube, one 4mm gold plated bead, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the second jumpring on the first half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the 4mm gold plated bead and the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately one inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the clasp so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using wire nippers, trim the excess wire from the short end.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire one black disc crystal and one 5mm wooden bead.
STEP 4
String on the beading wire one black disc crystal and one skull bead. Continue stringing the skulls on the strand so they face the same direction and are graduated from smaller to larger as you reach the center of the necklace.
STEP 5
Continue stringing the following:
  • Black disc crystal
  • 5mm wooden bead
  • Black disc crystal
  • Skull bead
Repeat Step 5 twelve times for a total of thirteen sets.
STEP 6
String onto the beading wire one black disc crystal and one 5mm wooden bead.

Repeat Step 6 fifteen times for a total of sixteen sets. String on one black disc crystal.
STEP 7
String onto the wire one crimp tube, one 4mm gold plated bead, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the second jumpring on the first half of the clasp. Pass the wire back through the 4mm gold plated bead and the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately one inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the clasp so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using wire nippers, trim the excess wire from the short end.
