Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Druzy Agate Focal and Drops and Swarovski Crystal Beads

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut a 30-inch length of brown Nymo thread. String a beading needle on one end of the thread.
STEP 2
Pass the thread around one of the strands of brown twisted cord on the outer edge of the cord. Use a surgeons knot to secure the thread to the cord. Place a small amount of gel adhesive to further secure the knot (optional).
STEP 3
String onto the thread, one Swarovski 3mm bicone light grey opal crystal. Loop the thread back around the center strand of twisted cord.

Pass the needle and thread through the strand of twisted cord at the bottom of the crystal (exiting at the top of the next twist of cord).

Continue to attach one Swarovski 3mm bicone light grey opal crystal in between each twist of the cord positioning the crystal at the outer edge of the cord until thirty-nine crystals have been attached to the twisted cord.
STEP 4
After the last crystal, pass the needle and thread back through the last twist of the cord and use a surgeons knot to secure the thread to the cord. Place a small amount of gel adhesive to further secure the knot (optional).
STEP 5
Place the bail over the center of the cord. Place a 50mm round agate focal piece onto the pick of the bail. Use a pair of chain-nose pliers and close the bail together to hold the focal piece in place.

Earrings

STEP 1
Place a 24mm round agate drop onto the pick of the bail. Use a pair of chain-nose pliers and close the bail together to hold the drop in place.
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on an earwire and through the bail attached to a 24mm agate drop. Close the jumpring.
STEP 3
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to create the second earring.
