Single-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Celestial Crystal® Beads, Seed Beads and Accu-Flex® Beading Wire

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut the following:
  • Three 24-inch lengths of silver-finished copper Zebra Wire™
  • Two 5-1/2-inch lengths (5 links) of antique silver-plated brass 21x14mm twisted oval chain
STEP 2
String one 6mm bicone green frost crystal bead onto an eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the eyepin. Repeat to create seventeen 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links.

Repeat to create the following:
  • Six 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading links using one 8mm bicone green frost crystal bead and one 1-inch eyepin
  • Four 9x6mm oval gold glass beading links using one 9x6mm oval gold glass bead and one 1-inch eyepin
  • Four 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drops using one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead and one 1-inch headpin
STEP 3
Using flush-cutters, cut a 48-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 4
String the wire through one crimp tube (back side of disk), the first hole on a 25mm perforated disk from the back side to the front, one 4mm round green frost bead, one yellow seed bead, one orange seed bead, one yellow seed bead, and one orange seed bead. Pass the wire back through the same hole on the disk to the back and back through the crimp tube leaving the wire approximately 1-inch loop on the front of the disk. Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire.

Repeat to attach a wire with bead loop through each of the 43 holes on the 25mm perforated disk, varying the size of the beading wire loops slightly.
STEP 5
Cut a 30-inch length of beading wire. String the wire through one crimp tube (back side of disk), through the first hole on a 25mm perforated disk from the back side to the front. Crimp the tube to hold the wire in place.

String one 4mm round green frost bead, one yellow seed bead, one orange seed bead, one yellow seed bead, and one orange seed bead. Pass the wire back through the adjacent hole bring the wire out the back of the disc. Pull the beaded wire close to the disk taking the slack from the wire. Pass the wire back up though the next hole and attach four seed beads. Repeat to attach seed beads at the base of the disk for the length of the beading wire. Secure the wire to the back of the disk using a crimp tube.
STEP 6
Pass the end of a 24-inch length of Zebra Wire through the first hole on the outside of the disk. String onto the wire one yellow seed bead, one orange seed bead, one yellow seed bead, and one orange seed bead. Pass the wire along the edge of the disk, passing it from front to back through the next hole on the edge. Repeat attaching four seed beads in between each hole along the outer edge of the disk.
STEP 7
Place a layer of adhesive along the back side of the perforated disk and the inside center area of the 42mm silver-plated flower component. Press the 25mm perforated disk onto the center of the flower component. Let the adhesive set for 24 hours.
STEP 8
Repeat Steps 4 - 7 to create two additional flower components. Substituting five seed beads (alternating orange and yellow) on the seed bead wire loops making each center loop approximately 1/2 inch in height for Step 4 and one orange seed bead, one 4mm round green frost bead, and one orange seed bead for Step 6.
STEP 9
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and a pair of flat-nose pliers, open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the toggle bar portion of the clasp and the loop on an 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link. Close the jumpring.
STEP 10
Repeat to attach the components in the following order using a 5mm jumpring:
  • One 5-1/2 inch length of antiqued silver-plated brass twisted oval chain
  • One 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link
  • The loop on the center first petal of the first beaded flower component from Step 8
  • The loop on the top right third petal of the first beaded flower component from Step 8
  • One 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link
  • The loop on the left first petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7
  • The loop on the right first petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7
  • One 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link
  • The loop on the top left fourth petal of the second beaded flower component from Step 8
  • The loop on the center first petal of the second beaded flower component from Step 8
  • One 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link
  • One 5-1/2-inch length of antique silver brass-plated twisted oval chain
  • One 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link
  • Loop on the toggle bar portion of the clasp
STEP 11
Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the bottom right third petal of the first beaded flower component from Step 8 and the loop on an 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link. Close the jumpring.

Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the bottom left fifth petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7 and the opposite loop on the 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to attach an 8mm bicone green frost crystal beading link to the bottom right second petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7 and the bottom left fourth petal of the second beaded flower component from Step 8.
STEP 12
Repeat to attach the components to the opposite flower components in the following order starting with a 5mm jumpring:
  • Six 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the top left fourth petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7
  • Three 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the bottom left fourth petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7
  • Three 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the bottom left third petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7
  • One 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the top left third petal of the beaded flower component from Step 7

Earrings

STEP 1
String one 6mm bicone green frost crystal bead onto an eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of an eyepin. Repeat to create a total of sixteen 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links.

Repeat to create the following:
  • Six 9x6mm oval gold glass beading links using one 9x6mm oval gold glass bead and one 1-inch eyepin
  • Six 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drops using one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead and one 1-inch headpin
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and a pair of flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Place two antiqued silver-plated 14x14mm diamond links back to back. Pass the jumpring through the loops on the top of the diamond links and one loop on a 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link. Close the jumpring. Open the opposite loop on the 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link and attach to the loop on an earwire. Close the loop.
STEP 3
Repeat to attach the components to the loops on the antiqued silver-plated 14x14mm diamond links in the following order starting with a 5mm jumpring:
  • Four 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the left loop on the diamond link
  • Two 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading links, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the bottom loop on the diamond link
  • One 6mm bicone green frost crystal beading link, one 9x6mm oval gold glass beading link, and one 10mm faceted yellow glass bead drop to the right loop on the diamond link
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create a second earring.
