Bracelet with Turquoise Gemstone Beads, Red Coral Gemstone Beads and Cultured Freshwater Pearls

STEP 1
String onto a 2-inch sterling silver headpin with ball end one 4-4.5mm white potato pearl. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and side-cutting pliers, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire, creating a white potato pearl bead drop. Repeat to create nineteen white potato pearl bead drops.

Repeat to create the following:
  • Sixteen red coral bead drops, using one 1-1/2 inch sterling silver headpin with ball end and one 3.5-4mm red coral round bead
  • Twenty-four 7-8mm turquoise faceted pebble bead drops, using one 2-inch headpin and one 7-8mm turquoise faceted pebble

Assembling the Bracelet

STEP 2
Using side-cutting pliers, cut six 3-inch lengths of 22-gauge sterling silver round wire and three 4-inch lengths of 20-gauge sterling silver square wire.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm sterling silver jumpring and pass it through the loop on the ring portion of the toggle clasp. Close the jumpring.
STEP 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and round-nose pliers, create a loop approximately 1-1/2 inches down one end of a 3-inch length of 22-gauge round wire. Pass the loop through the jumpring attached to the round portion of the clasp. Finish the wired-wrapped loop making approximately three tightly wound wraps. Using the side-cutting pliers, trim the excess wire.

String onto the wire one 5-5.5mm white round pearl. Form a wire-wrapped loop above the pearl to create a double-wrapped loop link.

Repeat to create a total of four pearl double-wrapped loop links.
STEP 5
Using round-nose pliers, create a loop approximately 1-1/2 inches down the end from one 4-inch length of 20-gauge sterling silver square wire. Slip the loop through a loop on one end of a pearl double-wrapped loop link. Finish wrapping the wire. String on a 24x20mm turquoise oval nugget.

While holding the round-nose pliers horizontally, grasp the wire above the bead. Bend the wire over the barrel of the pliers. Rotate the pliers so they are vertical and pressed up against the bend in the wire you formed. Bring the wire up, over and around the barrel of the pliers, forming a loop. Slip onto the loop just formed, the loop of one pearl double-wrapped loop link. Finish wrapping the wire. Trim any excess wire and tuck in the end so there are no sharp edges.
STEP 6
Using round-nose pliers, create a loop approximately 1-1/2 inches down one end of a 3-inch length of 22-gauge round wire. Slip the loop through the loop on the end of the pearl double-wrapped loop link added in Step 5. Finish wrapping the wire. String on a 5-5.5mm white round pearl.

Finish the end of the wire with a wrapped loop.
STEP 7
Repeat Step 5.
STEP 8
Repeat Step 6.
STEP 9
Repeat Step 5.
STEP 10
Open a 4mm sterling silver jumpring and pass it through the loop on the bar portion of the clasp and through the loop of the last pearl double-wrapped loop link. Close the jumpring.

Attaching the bead drops

STEP 11
Using chain-nose pliers, open the loop on one 7-8mm turquoise faceted pebble bead drop and pass the open loop through the loop on the first pearl beading link. Close the loop.

Repeat to attach three 7-8mm turquoise faceted pebble bead drops, four white potato pearl bead drops, and two red coral bead drops to the loops between the first pearl beading link and the first 24x20mm turquoise oval nugget double-wrapped loop link.
STEP 12
Repeat Step 11 to attach the same amount of drops between the last 24x20mm turquoise oval nugget beading link and the last pearl double-wrapped loop link.
STEP 13
Attach three 7-8mm turquoise faceted pebble bead drops, two white potato pearl bead drops, and two red coral bead drops to the loops between the first 24x20mm turquoise oval nugget beading link and the second pearl double-wrapped loop link.
STEP 14
Repeat Step 13 to attach the same amount of drops between each set of loops--working between the two sets of two pearl links and the pearl and turquoise links.
