Single-Strand Necklace with Ceramic Beads and Gold-Plated Brass Chain

STEP 1
String onto one eyepin: 6mm heishi gold-plated bead, one dark green oval porcelain bead and one 6mm heishi gold-plated bead. Using a pair of round-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire, creating a dark green oval porcelain beading link.

Repeat to create each the following using one eyepin, one 6mm heishi gold-plated bead, one oval porcelain bead, and one 6mm heishi gold-plated bead:
  • One dark green oval porcelain beading link
  • Two brown oval porcelain beading links
  • Two red oval porcelain beading links
  • Two yellow oval porcelain beading links
  • Two blue oval porcelain beading links
  • Two pink oval porcelain beading links
  • Two dark blue oval porcelain beading links
STEP 2
Using flush-cutters, cut fourteen 12-link lengths of 11x6mm gold-plated cable chain.
STEP 3
Open the loop on one side of a dark green oval beading link. Pass it through the first link on a 12-link length of 11x6mm gold-plated cable chain. Close the loop.
STEP 4
Continue connecting components in the following order with one 12-link length of chain in between each beading link:
  • One brown oval porcelain link
  • One dark blue oval porcelain beading link
  • One pink oval porcelain beading link
  • One yellow beading link
  • One red oval porcelain beading link
  • One blue oval porcelain beading link
  • One dark green porcelain beading link
  • One brown oval porcelain link
  • One dark blue oval porcelain beading link
  • One pink oval porcelain beading link
  • One yellow beading link
  • One red oval porcelain beading link
  • One blue oval porcelain beading link
STEP 5
Open the opposite loop on the dark green porcelain beading link from Step 3 then pass it through the last link on the 12-link length of chain. Close the loop.
