Double-Strand Necklace with Lampworked Glass Beads, Celestial Crystal® Beads and Gold-Plated Brass Beads

STEP 1
String one gold-plated 4mm heishi bead, one oval red flower lampworked bead, and one gold-plated 4mm double cone bead onto an headpin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the wire, creating an oval red flower lampworked bead beading drop.
STEP 2
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass the open ring through the loop on the toggle bar portion of the clasp.

Repeat to add a 4mm jumpring to the loop on the toggle ring portion of the clasp.
STEP 3
Using flush-cutters, cut one 23-inch and one 29-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto both wires one crimp, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire, and the jumpring attached to the toggle half of the clasp.
STEP 4
Pass the wires back through both crimps, leaving one end of each of the wires approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimps tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimps (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp each of the crimps. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short ends.
STEP 5
String both wires through one 4mm double cone gold-plated bead, one 4mm heishi gold-plated bead, one 6mm diamond emerald crystal and one 4mm heishi gold-plated bead.
STEP 6
Separate the strands. String onto the 23-inch length of beading wire one of each of the following:
  • 4mm faceted round red crystal
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead
  • 6x1.5mm straight tube liquid gold bead
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead

STEP 7
String onto the 29-inch length of beading wire one of each of the following:
  • 6x1.5mm straight tube liquid gold bead
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead
  • 4mm faceted round emerald crystal
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead

STEP 9
Repeat Step 6 (in reverse) and Step 7.
STEP 10
String onto both wires one 4mm heishi gold-plated bead, one 6mm diamond emerald crystal, one flat round red flower lampworked bead, one 6mm diamond emerald crystal and one 4mm heishi gold-plated bead.
STEP 11
Repeat Steps 6, 7 and 10.
STEP 12
Separate the strands. String onto the 23-inch length of beading wire one of each of the following:
  • 4mm faceted round red crystal
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead
  • 6x1.5mm straight tube liquid gold bead
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead
  • 4mm faceted round emerald crystal
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead
  • 6x1.5mm straight tube liquid gold bead
  • 4mm heishi gold-plated bead
  • 8x4 double cone red crystal
STEP 13
Repeat Step 7 on the 29-inch length of beading wire.
STEP 14
String onto both wires one 4mm heishi gold-plated bead, one crimp, the loop on the oval red flower lampworked bead beading drop (sits over the top of the crimp), and one 4mm heishi gold-plated bead.
STEP 15
Repeat Steps 5 - 13, backwards, to create the second half of the strand in a mirror image of the first half of the strand.
STEP 16
String onto both wires one crimp, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire, and the jumpring attached to the toggle ring half of the clasp. Pass the wires back through the crimps, then pull the wires snugly so the crimps are tight against the jumpring and so the French wire forms in a nicely curved loop. Make sure there is no slack along the length of the necklace. Place a small amount of gel adhesive inside the crimps (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tubes. Using wire nippers, trim excess wire from the ends.
