Single-Strand Necklace with Stainless Steel with Heat-Torched Coloration Pendant, Gold- and Silver-Plated Beads and Bead Caps and Organza Ribbon

STEP 1
Using scissors, cut two 15-inch lengths of gold 1/2 inch organza ribbon. Cut one end of each of the ribbons at a 45-degree angle.
STEP 2
Using the flat end of one piece of ribbon, fold 1/4 inch of ribbon onto itself. Fold the ribbon 1/4 inch over again. Place the folded portion of the ribbon into a ribbon crimp end. Place a small amount of glue into the ribbon crimp end. Using a pair chain-nose pliers, gently close the ribbon crimp end over the ribbon.

Repeat to attach the second length of ribbon to the second ribbon end.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on one ribbon crimp end. Close the jumpring.

Repeat to add a 4mm jumpring to the loop on the second ribbon crimp end.
STEP 4
Using flush-cutters, cut an 18-inch length of Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire.
STEP 5
String onto the wire one crimp tube, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the jumpring attached to the first ribbon crimp end. Pass the wire back through the crimp tube, leaving one end of the wire approximately 1-inch long. Pull the crimp tight against the French wire and the jumpring so the French wire is formed in a nicely curved tube. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim the excess wire from the short end.
STEP 6
String onto the beading wire one 5mm silver plated round bead and one 6mm silver plated round bead. String on one 6mm corrugated silver-colored bead cap and one 4mm 3-tone cone bead cap. Repeat nine times for a total of ten sets.

STEP 17
Repeat Steps 15 - 6, backwards, to create the second half of the strand in a mirror image of the first half of the strand. Remember to reverse the direction of the bead caps so they are open toward the focal piece.
STEP 18
String on one crimp tube, a 1/2 inch piece of French wire and the jumpring on the second ribbon crimp end.
