Multi-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Glass Pearls, Silver- and Gold-Plated Stardust Beads and Chain and Accu-Flex® Beading Wire

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut the following:
  • One 17-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 2.2mm cable chain
  • One 18-inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain
  • Two 3-1/2 inch lengths of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain
  • Two 4-1/2 inch lengths of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain
  • One 5-inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain
  • One 31-inch length of gold-plated 10mm and 14mm round link chain

First and Second Strand

STEP 2
Using flush-cutters, cut a 19-inch length of black Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire and a 20-inch length of Dijon gold Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Pass both wires through a crimp tube and then through a bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip. Position the crimp at the end of the wires. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional).

Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim any excess wire from the short end.

Place the bead tip over the crimp. Using chain-nose pliers, gently close the bead tip.
STEP 3
Using one pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open the loop on the bead tip. Pass it through the first loop on the outer portion of the slide lock clasp. Close the loop.
STEP 4
Separate the strands. String onto the black beading wire a crimp tube. Measure 3-1/2 inches down the wire from the first crimp and crimp the crimp tube using crimping pliers. String onto the wire one 8mm round pewter pearl and one crimp tube. Crimp the crimp tube next to the 8mm round pewter pearl. Place one 4mm corrugated round gunmetal-plated crimp cover over each crimp tube.
STEP 5
Repeat Step 4 to add the following beads to the beading wire using one crimp tube, one of the following components, and one crimp tube to hold each bead in place:
  • One 8mm round silver pearl two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round stardust silver-plated bead two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round silver pearl one inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round pewter pearl two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round stardust silver-plated bead two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp covers
STEP 6
String onto the Dijon gold beading wire a crimp tube. Measure 5-1/4 inches down the wire from the first crimp and crimp the crimp tube. String onto the wire one 8mm round stardust gold-plated bead and one crimp tube. Crimp the crimp tube next to the 8mm round stardust gold-plated bead. Place one 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp cover over each crimp tube.
STEP 7
Repeat Step 6 to add the following beads to the beading wire using one crimp tube, one of the following components, and one crimp tube to hold each bead in place:
  • One 8mm round silver pearl two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round stardust gold-plated bead 3-1/4 inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round stardust silver-plated bead two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp covers
STEP 8
Pass the black and the Dijon gold beading wires through a bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and a crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wires. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional). Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim any excess wire from the short end. Place the bead tip over the crimp. Using chain-nose pliers, gently close the bead tip.
STEP 9
Open the loop on the bead tip. Pass it through the first loop on the inner portion of the slide lock clasp. Close the jumpring.

Third Strand

STEP 10
Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the first link of the 17-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 2.2mm cable chain and the second loop of the outer portion of the clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the last link of the 17-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 2.2mm cable chain to the second loop on the inner portion of the clasp.

Fourth Strand

STEP 11
Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the first link of the 18-inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain and the third loop of the outer portion of the clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the last link of the 18-inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain to the third loop on the inner portion of the clasp.

Fifth Strand

STEP 12
Using flush-cutters, cut a 4-inch length of Dijon gold Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the third loop on the outer portion of the clasp.
STEP 13
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One crimp 3/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One 6mm round stardust silver-plated bead one inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover and one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp 3/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp 1/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp cover
STEP 14
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the first link on a 4-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain.
STEP 15
Using flush-cutters, cut a 9-1/2 inch length of Dijon gold Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the last link on the 4-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain from Step 14.
STEP 16
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One crimp one inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover
  • One 8mm round silver pearl 1/2 inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover and one 4mm round stardust silver crimp cover
  • One crimp 1/2 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One 8mm round stardust gold bead, one 10mm round pewter pearl, one 10mm round stardust gold, one 10mm round pewter pearl, and one 8mm round stardust gold bead one inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with 4mm round stardust gold crimp covers
  • One crimp 1/2 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One 8mm round silver pearl 1/2 inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust silver crimp cover and one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp one inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover
STEP 17
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the first link on a 4-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain.
STEP 18
Using flush-cutters, cut a 4-inch length of Dijon gold Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to last link on the 4-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain from Step 17.
STEP 19
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One crimp 1/2 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp 1/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover
  • One 6mm round stardust silver-plated bead 3/4 inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover and one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp one inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
STEP 20
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the third loop on the inner portion of the clasp.

Sixth Strand

STEP 21
Using flush-cutters, cut a 27-inch length of black Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the fourth loop on the outer portion of the clasp.
STEP 22
Repeat Step 4 to add the following beads to the beading wire using one crimp tube, one of the following components, and one crimp tube to hold each bead in place:
  • One 8mm round pewter pearl 4-1/2 inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm corrugated round silver-plated crimp covers
  • One 10mm round stardust gold-plated bead 2-3/4 inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp covers
  • One 10mm round pewter pearl two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp covers
  • One 10mm round stardust gold-plated bead five inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round corrugated silver-plated crimp covers
  • One 10mm round pewter pearl two inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp covers
  • One 8mm round silver pearl 2-3/4 inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tubes with 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp covers
STEP 23
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the fourth loop on the inner portion of the clasp.

Seventh Strand

STEP 24
Using flush-cutters, cut a 4-inch length of black Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the fifth loop on the outer portion of the clasp.
STEP 25
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One crimp 1-1/2 inches from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One 4mm round corrugated silver-plated crimp cover 1/2 inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp covers
STEP 26
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the first link on a 3-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain.
STEP 27
Using flush-cutters, cut a 4-inch length of black Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the last link on the 3-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain from Step 26.
STEP 28
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One crimp 3/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round corrugated gunmetal-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp 1/2 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp cover
  • One 8mm round stardust silver-plated bead and one 10mm round stardust gold-plated bead 3/4 inch from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover and one 4mm round corrugated gunmetal silver crimp cover
STEP 29
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the first link on a 5-inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain.
STEP 30
Using flush-cutters, cut a 4-inch length of black Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the last link on the 5-inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain from Step 29.
STEP 31
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One crimp 3/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp cover
  • One 10mm round stardust gold-plated bead and one 8mm round stardust silver-plated bead 1-1/4 inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with one 4mm one 4mm round corrugated gunmetal silver crimp cover and round stardust gold-plated crimp cover
  • One crimp 1/4 inch from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round corrugated gunmetal-plated crimp cover
STEP 32
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the first link on a 3-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain.
STEP 33
Using flush-cutters, cut a 4-inch length of black Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the wire to the last link on the 3-1/2 inch length of silver-plated 9x6mm Figaro chain from Step 32.
STEP 34
Repeat Step 4 to add the following crimps and beads to the beading wire:
  • One 4mm round corrugated gunmetal-plated crimp cover 1-1/2 inches from the previous bead covering the crimp tube with 4mm round stardust silver-plated crimp covers
  • One crimp 1-1/2 inches from the previous crimp tube with one 4mm round silver-plated crimp cover
STEP 35
String onto the beading wire one bottom clamp silver-plated bead tip and one crimp tube. Position the crimp at the end of the wire. Repeat Steps 8 and 9 to attach the wire to the fifth loop on the inner portion of the clasp.

STEP 36
Open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the first link of a 31-inch length of gold-plated 10mm and 14mm round link chain and the fifth loop of the outer portion of the clasp. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach the last link of the 31-inch length of gold-plated 10mm and 14mm round link chain to the fifth loop on the inner portion of the clasp.

Earrings

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut a 6-inch length of Dijon gold Accu-Flex® professional-quality beading wire. String onto the wire and one crimp tube. Position the crimp one inch from the end of the wire. Using the crimping pliers, crimp the crimp tube. Place the 4mm stardust silver-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube. Using chain-nose pliers, gently close the crimp cover.
STEP 2
String onto the beading wire a crimp tube. Measure 1-1/4 inches down the wire from the first crimp and crimp the crimp tube using crimping pliers. String onto the wire one 6mm round pewter pearl, one 8mm round stardust gold-plated bead, one 6mm round pewter pearl and one crimp tube. Crimp the crimp tube next to the last 8mm round pewter pearl. Place one 4mm round stardust gold-plated crimp cover over each crimp tube.
STEP 3
String onto the beading wire a crimp tube. Measure 1-1/4 inches down the wire from the last crimp and crimp the crimp tube using crimping pliers. Place the 4mm stardust silver-plated crimp cover over the crimp tube.
STEP 4
Pass a crimp tube on the first end of the wire. Pass the other end of the wire through the crimp tube going in the opposite direction creating a hoop. Place a small amount of adhesive inside the crimp (optional). Crimp the crimp tube. Using flush-cutters, trim any excess wire from the ends.
STEP 5
Place a bottom clamp bead tip over the crimp. Using chain-nose pliers, gently close the bead tip.
STEP 6
Using one pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 5mm jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the bead tip and the loop on an earwire. Close the loop.
STEP 7
Repeat Steps 1 - 6 to create the second earring.
