Double-Strand Necklace and Earring Set with Swarovski Crystal Beads, Glass Beads and Gold-Plated Brass Charms

Necklace

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters, cut one 1-1/2 inch length of gold-plated 7x5mm twisted cable chain.
STEP 2
String one Swarovski 8mm round Pacific opal crystal onto a 1-1/2 inch eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a simple loop on the straight end of the eyepin creating a beading link.

Repeat to create the following:
  • Nine Swarovski 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading links
  • Nine 6mm round Indian red crystal beading links using one 6mm round Indian red crystal and one eyepin
  • Nine 6mm round rose glass beading links using one 6mm round rose glass bead and one eyepin
  • Twenty-five 5mm round white natural wood beading links using one 5mm round white natural wood bead and one eyepin
  • Two 6mm round tan glass bead drops using one 6mm round tan bead and one ballpin
  • One 4mm bicone Pacific opal crystal bead drop using one 4mm bicone Pacific opal crystal and one ballpin
STEP 3
Using round-nose pliers, create a second loop on the eye portion of a 1-1/2 inch eypin creating a double simple loop. String one 8mm gold-plated bead cap, one 21x13mm flat oval tan glass bead and one 8mm gold-plated bead cap onto the double-loop eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a double simple loop on the straight end of the wire creating a beading link.

Repeat to create the following:
  • Three 21x13mm flat oval tan glass beading links
  • Two 15x13mm barrel white glass beading links using one 10mm gold-plated bead cap, one 15x13mm white glass bead, one 10mm gold-plated bead cap and one eyepin
  • One puffed flat round gold and pink glass beading link using one 8mm gold-plated bead cap, one 16-20mm puffed flat round gold and pink glass bead, one 8mm gold-plated bead cap and one eyepin
STEP 4
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 6mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the loop on the toggle bar portion of the clasp and the first link on the 1-1/2 inch length of gold-plated 7x5mm twisted cable chain. Close the jumpring.
STEP 5
Repeat to attach the components in the following order:
  • One 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • One 6mm round rose glass beading link
  • One 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • One 15x13mm barrel white glass beading link
  • One 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • One 6mm round Indian red crystal beading link
  • One 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • One Swarovski 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link
  • One 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • One 26x20mm filigree flower (top loop)
  • One 6mm gold-plated jumpring (bottom left side of 26x20mm filigree flower)
  • Three sets of one Swarovski 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • Three sets of one 6mm round rose glass beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • Three sets of one Swarovski 6mm round Indian red crystal beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • Three sets of one Swarovski 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • Three sets of one 6mm round rose glass beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • Three sets of one Swarovski 6mm round Indian red crystal beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring
  • Three sets of one 21x13mm flat oval tan glass beading link and two 4mm gold-plated jumprings (double jumpring)
  • One 16-20mm puffed flat round gold and pink glass beading link
  • Two 4mm gold-plated jumprings (double jumpring)
  • One 15x13mm barrel white glass beading link
  • Two 4mm gold-plated jumprings (double jumpring)
  • One 26x20mm filigree flower (top loop)
  • Two 6mm gold-plated jumprings (double jumpring) (bottom right and left loop of the 26x20mm filigree flower)
  • Loop on the toggle-ring portion of the clasp
STEP 6
Open a 6mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the bottom right side of the first 26x20mm filigree flower from Step 5 and the loop on a 5mm round white natural wood beading link. Close the jumpring. Repeat to attach 22 sets of one 6mm gold-plated jumpring and one 5mm round white natural wood beading link to the 6mm gold-plated jumpring above the loop on the first 21x13mm flat oval tan glass beading link from Step 5.
STEP 7
Open an 8mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a 6mm round tan glass bead drop, the loop on a 5mm round white natural wood beading link and the ring portion of the toggle ring clasp. Close the jumpring.

Continue to attach two more sets of one 5mm round white natural wood beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring and then one 8x8mm clover charm.

Open an 8mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the loop on a 6mm round rose glass beading link and the ring portion of the toggle ring clasp. Close the jumpring.

Continue to attach another 6mm round rose glass beading link, one 6mm gold-plated jumpring, two sets of one Swarovski 6mm round Indian red crystal beading link and one 6mm gold-plated jumpring and one 29x12mm key charm.

Open an 8mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the loop on an 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link and the ring portion of the toggle ring clasp. Close the jumpring.

Open a 6mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the opposite loop on the 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link, the loop on a 6mm round tan glass bead drop, and an 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link. Close the jumpring.

Open a 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the opposite loop on the 8mm round Pacific opal crystal beading link and a top right wing of the 20x15mm butterfly charm. Close the jumpring.

Open a 6mm jumpring. Pass it through the bottom left wing on the 20x15mm butterfly charm and a 4mm bicone Pacific opal crystal bead drop. Close the jumpring.

Earrings

STEP 1
Using round-nose pliers, create a second loop on the eye portion of a 1-1/2 inch eypin. String one 8mm gold-plated bead cap, one 15x13mm barrel white glass bead and one 8mm gold-plated bead cap onto the double-loop eyepin. Using a pair of chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers and flush-cutters, form a double simple loop on the straight end of the wire. Repeat to create two 15x13mm barrel white glass bead beading links.
STEP 2
Pass a swirl earwire through the loop on the top of a 20x15mm butterfly charm. Center the butterfly on the bottom of the wire.
STEP 3
Using a pair of chain-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers, open a 4mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the bottom right wing on the 20x15mm butterfly charm and a 15x13mm barrel white glass bead beading link. Close the jumpring.

Open a 4mm gold-plated jumpring. Pass it through the opposite loop on the 15x13mm barrel white glass bead beading link and the loop on an 8mm clover charm. Close the jumpring.
STEP 4
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to create the second earring.
