Multi-Strand Bracelet with Tila® Beads and Antiqued Brass-Plated Brass Chain

STEP 1
Using flush-cutters cut forty 1/2 inch lengths and twenty 3/4 inch lengths of 2.2mm cable chain.

Using scissors cut one 3-yard length of brown size D Nymo® thread then thread a needle leaving a 12-inch tail.

Note: It may be necessary to cut other 36-inch lengths of thread later in the design.
STEP 2
String one Tila bead then pass the needle through the top hole of the same Tila bead. String four Miyuki #15 rocaille seed beads then pass the needle back through the top hole of the Tila bead, so the seed beads rest against the side of the Tila bead. Pass the needle back through the seed beads once more. Repeat to ladder stitch a total of five Tila beads with seed beads between.
STEP 3
Verify the thread is coming out of the top hole on the last Tila bead then string one Tila bead. Pass the needle through bottom hole of the Tila bead just added, back through the bottom hole of the adjacent Tila bead then back out the top hole of both Tila beads. Pass the thread back through the bottom hole of the Tila bead just added then string four seed beads. Pass the needle back through the hole of the Tila bead, so the seed beads rest against the side of then pass the needle through the seed beads once more. Repeat to finish the row.

To secure the new row to the first row, pass the needle through holes of the adjacent Tila bead (first Tila from the first row) then back through the last Tila bead of the new row (Tila bead just added).

Repeat to create a total of five rows of Tila beads and seed beads. To secure, pass the thread back through several beads then trim excess thread.
STEP 4
Thread a needle onto the tail and pass the needle through several beads then trim excess thread.
STEP 5
Repeat Steps 2 - 4 to create a total of three five row and two three row ladder stitch blocks.
STEP 6
Cut a three yard length of thread then thread a needle.

Pass the needle through the bottom row of five adjacent Tila beads on one five row ladder stitch block leaving a 12-inch tail. String one 1/2 inch length of cable chain then pass the thread back through the same set of holes. String one 3/4 inch length of cable chain then pass the thread back through the set holes. Repeat to attach chain to the next set of holes on the same row of Tila beads.

Repeat to attach lengths of chain to each set of five Tila beads on the five row block. Thread a needle onto the tail and pass the needle through several beads then trim excess thread.

Repeat to attach chain to each ladder stitch block.
STEP 7
Pass one 4mm jumpring through the last link on the opposite end of the two 3/4 inch lengths of chain, from the first five Tila bead row and the end loop on one portion of the 5-stand slide lock clasp and close.

Repeat to attach the 3/4 inch lengths of cable chain from each Tila bead row to a loop on the clasp.

Repeat to attach the lengths of chain on the opposite end of the bracelet to the second portion of the slide lock clasp.
