Triple-Strand Bracelet with Braided Silamide Thread and Swarovski Crystal

STEP 1
Using scissors cut sixteen 40-inch lengths of size A gold Silamide thread and thirty-two 40-inch lengths of size A light brown Silamide thread.
STEP 2
Fold the sixteen strand bundle of gold thread in half and pass the folded end through the center of one 22x16mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component then pass the cut ends of the thread through the loop on the folded end of the thread attaching the thread to the cosmic oval component with a lark's head knot.
  • Repeat to attach one 16 strand bundle of light brown thread to the left of the gold thread using a lark's head knot
  • Repeat to attach one 16 strand bundle of light brown thread to the right of the gold thread using a lark's head knot
STEP 3
Separate each bundle of thread into three parts and braid each bundle to the end of the thread. Secure the braided ends with tape or clips to keep the braids secure while adding components.
STEP 4
Pass the center gold braid through the center of one 15x11mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component. Cross the two light brown braids under the 15x11mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component and the gold braid over the crossed brown braids and back up through the center of the 15x11mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component.
STEP 5
Pass the center gold braid through the center of one 15x11mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component. Cross the two light brown braids under the 15x11mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component and the gold braid over the crossed brown braids and back up through the center of the 15x11mm Swarovski copper cosmic oval component.
STEP 6
Gather the three braided ends together and secure them into one gold-plated cord tip using G-S Hypo cement adhesive. Using flat-nose pliers gently crimp the cord tip to more fully secure the braid ends.
STEP 7
Using round-nose pliers and flat-nose pliers open one 5mm gold-plated jumpring and pass it through the loop on the cord tip and the loop on the toggle ring portion of the clasp. Close the jumpring.
STEP 8
Repeat Steps 1 - 7 to create the opposite side of the bracelet and attach the toggle bar portion of the clasp.
